How do we divide the work?
I lead the work on the website, from structure and design to development and maintenance. You work directly with me, with someone who knows the decisions made along the way.
When an SEO or marketing specialist is involved, I coordinate the technical requirements with them. You set the business goals, provide knowledge of your offer and approve the key decisions.

Marketing partnerSEO and campaigns
- Customer acquisition strategy
- Content and search optimisation
- Advertising campaigns
The partner defines what the campaign needs. I build the page and tracking. We check the implementation together.
What can the scope include?
You do not have to commission the whole process. I can start with an audit, build a design supplied by your studio or take over an existing website's maintenance. The proposal lists specific tasks and the outcome of each stage.
- Agreeing on goals, audiences and the page structure.
- Designing user journeys (UX) and the visual interface (UI), including mobile views.
- Building a WordPress website or WooCommerce shop.
- Forms, integrations and tracking actions such as enquiry submissions.
- Launch, maintenance and development within the agreed scope.
How do I check whether the website is faster?
I start by measuring and finding the cause: it might be images, code, the server or marketing scripts. After making changes, I repeat the test under comparable conditions and show what has improved.
In PageSpeed, I distinguish controlled tests from data collected during real visits, where available. A single score cannot describe the whole experience. Content loading, responsiveness and layout stability matter too.
04Performance from a visitor’s perspective
Three things beyond a single score.
LCP
I can see the content
How quickly the largest visible element appears, such as the main image.
INP
The page responds
How quickly the page gives visual feedback after a click or text input.
CLS
The layout stays put
Whether elements shift unexpectedly while someone uses the page.
Controlled tests
Help identify problems and compare the page before and after a change.
Real visitor data
Reflect real visits when enough data is available.
How do I work with SEO and marketing teams?
Your agency or specialist handles strategy, content, search optimisation and campaigns. I can build the pages they need, set up event tracking and implement technical SEO recommendations.
For example, the agency plans a campaign and provides the requirements. I build the landing page, form and enquiry tracking. We check that everything works before launch. If you do not have a partner, I can help define the scope and prepare a brief.
What happens after launch?
Ongoing care covers updates, backups, monitoring and work on the website. We agree on monthly hours, response times and how additional tasks are billed.
Your own team or another provider can also handle maintenance. What matters is knowing who will carry out updates and who to contact when a problem comes up.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Can we start with an idea and no design?
Yes. We start with goals, audiences and scope. From there, I can prepare the page structure, visual design and development plan.
Will you work with our SEO or marketing agency?
Yes. I can implement their recommendations, build the pages they need and discuss the technical implications of ideas before work starts.
Do we have to sign up for ongoing care?
No. I recommend assigning responsibility for maintenance, but your team or another provider can take it on. Ongoing care is available if you want to keep one point of contact for future work.
